Inspiration: ZIN 29

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

A lot of people ask me where I get my choreography for Zumba class, and there is no one answer. I get a lot of inspiration for choreography from other instructors either by visiting their class or on the internet, from pop culture music videos, people dancing in the club and from ZIN DVD’s that I get from being a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. I take what I love from other people and make it my own.

I LOVE when a ZIN arrives in the mail, especially when it’s done by one of my favorite ZES, like Tanya B, Gina or George. It’s always neat to see how music inspires people to move in different ways. I was impressed with the newest ZIN and loved seeing a new Zumba Education Specialist host. Stephanie was AWESOME! She was easy to follow and have fun simple choreography.

Look for my personal interpretation of some of the newest ZIN 29 songs in class soon! Some of my favorites include:

Tu Amor Me Hace Bien by Marc Anthony Beto’s Choreo with a touch of Sara

Mueve la Cadera by Zumba Fitness (Move Your Hips) * Undecided, but it will premier soon!

Vete by Los Primeros Mostly Stephanie with a touch of Beto and Sara
